Eileen Coparropa knows what it means to compete and to win. Known as “La Sirena de Oro” (The Golden Mermaid), she represented Panama as a 3-time Olympian, proudly carrying her nation’s flag and becoming one of the most decorated athletes in her country’s history. At Auburn University, she was a 22-time All-American, helped secure 3 Women’s National Championship titles, and was inducted into both the Auburn Swimming Hall of Fame and the Panamanian Athletes’ Hall of Fame.

Eileen understands what it takes to thrive through personal and professional transitions with a champion’s mindset.  When she retired from competitive swimming, Eileen faced the first of many profound life shifts. Moving from the world of elite sports into a professional career in supply chain, she grappled with the loss of familiar purpose and the challenge of rediscovering who she was without swimming. Over time, she rebuilt a new sense of direction and fulfillment in the corporate world, leading high-performing teams in supply chain strategy and business transformation at global organizations.

Beyond her professional and athletic achievements, Eileen’s personal story is one of resilience, courage, and reinvention. As a mother, leader, and woman who has navigated profound life transitions, including divorce, single parenthood, and major career transformations, she understands the vulnerability and strength required to rebuild with purpose and grace. Through this season of change, she once again found her footing and reconnected with her sense of purpose through a journey that demanded deep self-discovery and inner strength.  In doing so, she opened her heart to love again and began a beautiful new chapter, creating and nurturing a blended family rooted in compassion, respect, and unconditional love.

Now, Eileen is embracing another transformation: shifting from corporate executive to coach and entrepreneur. Having navigated many seasons of change across sport, career, and personal life, she knows what it means to release what once defined her and step boldly into something new.

As the founder of Eileen Coparropa Excellence Coaching, she brings together the discipline of an Olympian, the strategic acumen of a corporate executive, and the compassion of someone who has walked through transformation herself.  She coaches elite athletes redefining life after sport and high-performing individuals navigating career or personal reinventions. Her mission is clear: to inspire and empower others to ignite their inner strength, embrace change with confidence, and create extraordinary success, no matter the arena.
